FORMULA 150

 

Formula 150 is a blend of Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria.  The product is designed to work in wastewater treatment plants that need to reduce or eliminate ammonia from the effluent. The product may be used in chemical plants, refineries, food processing plants, and municipal treatment plants.   The product must be used in aerobic environments.

Storage:     Store at temperatures between 2-4 C. Do not freeze.

 

DIRECTIONS

 

Dilute Formula 150 concentrate with 1 part concentrate to 5 parts of non-chlorinated water.  The dilution water temp should be between 20 and 35 degrees C.  Let stand for between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours then apply directly to the aeration basin. Apply product towards the middle of the basin or lagoon.  Dissolved oxygen must be at least 1 mg/l in order for this product to work.  Consult your sales representative for precise dosing information.

Alkalinity:                7.5 mg/l per ml of ammonia

PO 4:                        2 mg/L minimum

Dissolved Oxygen : 1 mg/L minimum/ 2mg/L recommended

 

Do not use in environments where high levels of toxic metals such as mercury, chromium, copper, zinc, etc., are known to exist.

 

AVAILABILITY

 

Product is available in 1 unit & 5 unit gel Packs or 500 ml, 1000 ml and 1-gallon containers

Product must be shipped overnight in insulated coolers and stored 2-4 degrees Celsius.
